Alwan Builders was founded in 1985, though building has been in our family for generations.  From our first home built in Riverwoods, IL, to the many current and future projects, we are always focused on quality.  What distinguishes us from the rest of the construction industry is our commitment to providing you, the homeowner, with the highest quality custom home available today.  We are passionate about building and our attention to detail is the cornerstone on which Alwan Builders has been built. We believe it is a rather simple concept to build the best home possible for our customers.

Our market is the Chicagoland area, with our main focus on the north shore (Northbrook, Glencoe, Winnetka, Wilmette, Glenview, Kenilworth).  We have built custom homes of various sizes, ranging from 2,500 square feet to over 15,000 square feet.  We have also completed a variety of remodeling projects, built a church, and have helped other non-profit groups including a showcase home built in 2005 to help raise funds and awareness for the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization.
